Instead of having a regular birthday meal, Miriam had this brilliant idea of celebrating her birthday at Rainbows Ceramics where we can all paint a piece of ceramics and have fun at creating our own piece of artwork for the night. It was a lot of fun and I felt like a little kid sitting in art class again. I think we should all do something like this once in a while--be creative, be a kid again!

thankful list
I've been inspired by a few other people about having a tangible way of remembering to be thankful for the everyday blessings so I thought why not put it on the blog so I can see the "thankful items" clearly? So here is the first one!
I am thankful for...
-supportive classmates and professor in helping me formulate my research report's topic by talking through the ideas I have with me. It was really helpful to talk about the disorganized ideas in my head with them.
-getting milo from Malaysia.
-this stack of books from the library. Ha! (but to be honest, I am thankful for having easy access to the resources I need for my study) and the library staffs here are so helpful. Also, it was good that we had library training sessions so we know how to search for resources most effectively and how to do references/bibliography.
-discovering this album by Chelseamoonmusic. I've been listening to it nonstop since yesterday.
