Beautiful "California" sky view from home

For a few days, we had clear sunny weather in Kuching, which resulted in beautiful sunsets like those I imagine for California. We couldn't see the mountain range from our window before until last month when they cut down the big tree so I guess it's a blessing too. It was nice to have homecooked dinner accompanied by this window view for the few evenings.

Whitstable-a seaside town near Canterbury

This is a continuation of my day trip in Canterbury... As we were driving towards the seaside, we suddenly saw this patch of brown water behind the houses and slopes and we started saying, “could this be it?” and to our slight disappointment, the brown water is the sea. After we got over disappointment, we were able to enjoy the beautiful bay and the houses, restaurants, boats and the pebble sand beaches at Whitstable.

Whitstable harbour.
Cute little boats that must be friends of Thomas the Engine or “Cars”.

Look at how big our group is!
A lot of us went to the Easter Camp so we were singing "活出爱" with actions.
We walked all the way out to the edge of the water
Then we walked all the way back in again. It was very windy in this open space but thank God for the beautiful sky.
Whitstable is famous for its oysters so we had to try some. Apparently, oysters have been collected in this area since at least Roman times. Thanks to Sherry, we were able to find a seafood takeaway place—Wheelers and satisfy our seafood/oyster craving. Most of us ordered half a dozen of fresh rock oysters and enjoyed the fresh taste of sea in each bite.

The highlight of the day was probably the unexpected sunset that we were able to witness right before we drove back to MK.
