03.11.2013

A typical day in my postgraduate studies day in Bristol. Looking back, I miss these days. The roads I always took, the seasons, and the mundane.
The gym is next to the arts and social science library.
 Walking over to the local food store to buy some fruits. Actually I rarely went to this store but I did that day to treat myself to some healthy options instead of my usual Sainsbury's haul.

Sunny rain

Sunny rain is an instrumental piece by Yiruma that I used to listen to at Moody. I captured these photos yesterday afternoon after our weekly prayer meeting. The late afternoon sunlight that created a golden glitter effect combined with the raindrops on the office window was so beautiful. We had just finished praying for our dear missionaries and I renewed my commitment in God to learn to pray more in my daily life. As you grow older, you will see the world quite differently and there will be more and more people and things to pray for, but I also learn to rely on God's power more so prayer is the only way to go. :)
'Surely God is my salvation;
    I will trust and not be afraid.The Lord, the Lord himself, is my strength and my defence;    he has become my salvation.’
Isaiah 12:2

Duck & Waffle// dinner outing

It was a rare occasion where all of us student volunteers had the time to go out together and do something fun because weekends are filled with camps/conferences and gospel team outreaches. We have wanted to go out for dinner together since a few months back so we decided to go to London tonight and eat at this restaurant on the 40th floor. I am thankful to see that we were able to have some time off and do something special after working almost 6 full days week in and out. The food and views were great, as reviewed by many on the internet so yup, it was a good dinner outing.
