The New Room is the oldest Methodist chapel in the world that John Wesley and the Methodists built and back in the 18th century as a meeting and preaching place. John preached and stayed at this chapel a lot even though he was an itinerant preacher who traveled on his horse. Seeing the place and learning more about how fervently the Wesley brothers and other preachers spread the Gospel made me really grateful for the missionaries who responded to God's calling and went to different parts of the world so that we could come to know the Saviour too. This place was especially meaningful for us because in Malaysia we grow up in the Methodist church.
