Hong Kong-PMQ

The PMQ 元創方 in Sheung Wan is a creative hub. It was once the site of "the first government school in Hong Kong providing western education to the public at the upper primary and secondary levels. Dr. Sun Yat-sen studied at the school in 1884" and a former police married quarters. Now, you can find shops and workshops for different crafts such as metalworks, ceramics, leather, clothes, cooking classes, and exhibitions there. There is so much to explore. I went there twice--once with Emily and the next day with Nick--but still did not finish seeing all the 5 or 6 levels on the two sides/blocks of buildings.

This makes me happy: a yellow balloon with a beautiful tree :)
Free MT tape craft event (well, in exchange for liking PMQ on facebook, which wasn't hard.)
This bread is so yummy that I still remember the taste. It's worth every dollar we paid for it.
We got it from Eric Kayser, which is a French bakery franchised from Paris I believe.
There are many Eric Kayser bakeries in Paris.
Dream balcony of my dream home

This whole room's walls are covered with cartoon drawings of Hong Kong. Super fun.
Cardboard art pieces. It reminds me of making all sorts of things out of cardboard when I was a child (or rather, my dad making cardboard car, homes etc for me inspired by the Barney & Friends show).
Upstairs, you can find public spaces with chairs and if you can find them, swings for you to just sit and relax there. It's such a nice place to enjoy the beautiful things that come from creativity & intentional work, and to take time to relax and rest when you want to.
They have changing exhibitions every season
