Hong Kong-Tung Chung (magical hour light, cable cars and mountains)

Really yummy dim sum snacks N's mom bought
And that was the pit stop we made at Tung Chung after picking up N's dad from work. Next, we finally made our way to the home in Lantau, which I had posted here.

Visiting HK Disneyland

Since we were in the Lantau area, N's mom brought us to tour Hong Kong Disneyland (the free areas of course). Their family has been to Disneyland several times since its opening so aunty had collected many collectible badges that you can wear on landyards and exchange with Disneyland staffs if you find a badge that you like. The Minnie Mouse hairband was a gift they had won in Disneyland when they came before too.

First stop, the Inspiration Lake

Next, we drove over to the actual Disneyland Resort entrance area to go see the musical fountain and take a peek at the park.
In front of the train station. Yup, you can take a MTR straight to Disneyland.
Amazing trees that reminded me of Tarzan and made me feel like I was in a Disney movie.
The musical fountain plays classic Disney songs and it felt magical going closer to the fountain as the music got louder, it was like entering a Disney movie:
"A dream is a wish your heart makes...."
The entrance to the park and the iconic Mickey.
Pluto
 Daisy Duck
N's mom who kindly acted as our tour guide for the day :)
We sat in this gazebo for a bit of a rest time, then we headed to the hotels.
The first hotel we visited was the Hollywood Hotel. Everything was Hollywood themed and so Californian.
We walked outside and were immediately transported to sunny California!

The second hotel we visited was the Disney Hotel, which has a more classic theme for its design, think Disney fairytales like Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and all the Disney princesses.
There's a real maze in the garden behind, but we did not have time to visit.
Bye bye Disneyland! Till next time~
