Hong Kong-Tram Ride

Riding the tram is one of the best activities in Hong Kong (maybe not during the hot and humid summer) because you get to see buildings lining the streets on both sides from a higher vantage point without the crowds around you. We got on the tram in Kennedy Town and enjoyed the breezy ride through Sheung Wan etc and got off at Wanchai. There were so many things to see along the way that my eyes were open the whole time, not wanting to miss a sight.
This yellow tram was the one we took:
Greeneries that reminded me of Melbourne:

Big windows that reminded me of buildings in Chicago:

 Same but different
Seeing cops in Hong Kong was like spotting celebrities/movie characters coming to life.
Passing by a street of dried seafood shops. It was fascinating to peer through the tram windows and into these shops filled to the brim with dried goods and watch the people go about their work.

The chaotic organisation of the boxes and goods, the beauty of everything happening at once.
Cool art pieces at a tram stop:
The old central market (it was the first wet market in HK) and the bank company that my dad used to work for, plus the teacup with a face hanging at the corner.
Going into the more expensive commercial area:
Buildings that alter your sense of scale:
Another local heritage building that used to house a famous pawn shop:

We got off at the Wanchai stop to go see the toys market and to get a late lunch.
