Medical city mainly-Mud pools, water
A theatre from Roman days (2nd C AD)-15000 people capicity
Fortification walls surrounding the city

Travertine (the white/light-coloured calcareous rock deposited from mineral springs) made this city famous for Cleopatra baths

Necropolis in the other end of the city 3km span 
St Philip was martyred in this city 

Medical centres in Asia Minor
Epiderus Greek
Gallen-physician who published 500+ books
Wine used as antiseptic
