Chicago Memories--summer 2009

Downtown Chicago
I've been gathering/organising things out of the old boxes that we haven't opened since moving and I come across many Chicago memories. Opening up boxes of souvenirs and keepsakes is like opening up forgotten memories; opening up archived photos folders opens up forgotten feelings and moments. Here are some photos from a summer almost forgotten.

Trust

IMG_2287 IMG_2286  IMG_2291 IMG_2285 ‘And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendour was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?” For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.'

These photos were taken after church service yesterday. It was God's way of reminding us that He is in control so do not worry, just fix our eyes on Him.

Ready for spring

Here are some pictures I took on campus of some signs of spring. Everyone's excited for spring this year because it has been unexceptionally cold for March this year. In fact, after I took these pictures, it snowed for a few days. haha..
