Today, I went to school, cooked my first Asian meal, went to town to get
a pair of boots, and came home finding our neighbour's cat curled up
sleeping in our front yard.
A sunnier day after a full day of rain yesterday, but the ground is still wet.
Look, it's autumn! (or at least the beginning of it). The pictures below are some of my neighbours' houses. I love their doors and their gardens.
Things I learned about being in the UK:
-The norms are tea with milk and bread with butter.
-When buying things/taking the taxi, always ask if there is any student discount because often, there are.
-When paying for things at the cashier, they will always ask you if you need a bag because they are big on saving resources and protecting the environment. If you need one, just say yes but if you want to be environmental-friendly, bring your own shopping bag.
-Always bring an umbrella when you go out because you don't know when it will rain.
